This is a catch-all collection of bird photos that I haven't posted anywhere else on the site. The reason may be that they aren't good shots — too far away, not clear. Or, they are pictures that didn't make the cut for a previous slideshow or journal.

But here they are, for the record, because they are notable (to me) for one reason or another. Sometimes a rare or unusual sighting on our lake. Or a species that wasn't accounted for. Because I now have a site bird directory, I wanted to include any and every bird that I was lucky enough to see and capture. The collection will keep growing ...
