September 2008 — Odd man out. Two swans were on the lake on an early September morning. Out of nowhere another flew in, circled the lake and landed nearby. Was it our lone swan from a few months ago, still looking for love? The male didn't appreciate the intruder and warily kept him at bay as they traveled around the lake.
A little later ... the happy couple apparently decided a threesome might spice things up a bit ...
