The blizzard (a.k.a.Storm of the Century) was a bust in most of the northeast, but we got our share here in Massachusetts ... we've been in clean-up mode all morning. (Well, Peter anyway ... since my early efforts, Web update mode is more like it.) You can CLICK on the photos for larger views. The worst part is seeing what the heavy snow has done to our trees. Our 10+-foot arborvitaes were reduced to 3-foot snow mounds. Rescue effort is underway ... All we have are shovels and this wimpy electric shovel (?) ... Luckily our neighbor Tommy loaned us his snow blower ... an item now on our shopping list Lucy is fascinated by snow. The couch awaits ...
