"Glen Creek has flowed from Sugar Hill to Seneca Lake for thousands of years. Along its journey, it slowly eroded and cut through the land to form the gorge.
As thin shale rock wore away beneath tougher sandstone layers above, a series of magnificent cascades, pools and potholes was born.
Though the gorge may look frozen in time, the dynamic interplay between water, rock and humans continues to bring ongoing change."
