INTRIA-HP Solves Need for Resource Optimization with Account4

Web-based PSA solution will show a ROI in just over 90 days

Newton, MA – April 28, 2000 – Continuing their steady stream of new business, Account4.com was recently awarded a contract by INTRIA-HP Corporation for their professional services automation (PSA) software solution, Account4. INTRIA-HP, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), is a joint venture between INTRIA and Hewlett-Packard. Their focus is the delivery of high-availability computer processing to the financial services sector. Account4 will be used in the company's Automated Consulting Group and other business units to manage resources and deliver consulting services more efficiently. Based on the number of users in the contract, the productivity gains provided by Account4 should provide INTRIA-HP a return on their investment in just over 90 days.

INTRIA-HP needed a software solution with the ability to track multiple human resources within various departments across the entire organization. Utilizing that captured data, managers wanted to be able to quickly assess the impact of new opportunities and decide which are most advantageous. With this goal in mind, INTRIA-HP selected Account4 for its rich resource planning ability, which incorporates key resource data elements such as skill sets, previous experience, availability, and assignments that have been scheduled, with corresponding authorized or reserved resources. An additional consideration in the selection process was the advanced Microsoft Project Portal. The Portal lets project managers continue using Microsoft Project while integrating their plans with Account4's central repository database to create an enterprise-wide view of project and resource status.

Also weighing heavily in the selection process was the Account4 Web-based, thin-client architecture. "Customers see the benefits of our technology quickly through the rapid implementation, simplicity of customizations, and the ability to access Account4 from any computer with a browser — saving significant money as well as time," said Dick Artus, VP of Marketing at Account4.com.

"We're pleased to be working with a leading-edge e-business pioneer such as INTRIA-HP, and are committed to helping them reach their goal of rolling out Account4 throughout their organization," said John Lucas, Account4.com President and CEO. "We expect this to happen within a fairly short time span based on the scalability of the application and the experience we have had over the years with large implementations."
